Coffee Shops in Baguio

Which parts of Baguio have the cafes?

Most sit within walking distance of Session Road, the city's main street. The lanes off it hold the densest run of cafes, with more around Burnham Park, the public market, and the university belt near Saint Louis.

Big chains show up too, but they're outnumbered: Starbucks leads, with its name on 6 OpenStreetMap records, more than any other chain. Head uphill or toward the edges of town and you'll find smaller roasters and hotel cafes looking out over the pines.

The map makes this easy. Zoom into the part of town you'll be in, then read the rows beside those pins.

Are Baguio cafes open early or late?

About half open by 8am, and few run late. Google Maps, checked 6 October 2026, has weekly hours for 122 of the 177 rows on this page (120 distinct places, since some pins share one Google place).

On a Monday, 45 of those places open by 7am and 62 by 8am, with Ad'laine Cafe and Bakeshop, on Naguilian Road going by Google Maps, first at 5am.

Nights end sooner.

Only 20 stay open past 10pm on a Monday, and six of those are Google listings marked open 24 hours, among them, going by their Google Maps addresses, Foam Coffee on Shuntug Road, Common Ground on General Lim Street and Luxcious Cafe on Lower Bonifacio Street.

Of the rest, just Foam Coffee Legarda on Bukaneg Street and Dabang Coffee on Escoda Street run to 1am. OpenStreetMap posts hours for about 21 cafes and tags none as 24/7.

For everything else, a quick message before you go is your best bet, especially early mornings or after dark.

About 12 cafes also carry a wifi tag if you want to sit and work, though a tag isn't a guarantee, so ask about the network and any time limit when you order.

How did we check the Baguio list?

The list holds 177 Baguio cafe records from OpenStreetMap, pulled 18 September 2026. On 6 October 2026 we searched Google Maps for each one and kept a match only when the name fit and the spot lined up within 200 meters.

138 rows matched and 39 didn't. The unmatched rows, and six matched rows with no rating yet, show No rating found, so 132 rows carry a Google rating.

That check also marked three Baguio listings permanently closed, so we left them out of the list and every figure here, and two places temporarily closed, which the table labels and the hours figures skip.

Two pairs of pins, Balai Studio Cafe with Studio Cafe and two Valley Bread Cafe entries, each lead to a single Google place, and we count each place once.

Where both sources give hours, the table puts Google's hours first. Baguio Feels at the Victory Liner Passenger Center posts daily 7am to 10pm on its own website.

How do you pick a Baguio cafe from this list?

Start with where you'll be, not the whole city. Find your next stop on the map, open the pins around it, then read the rows for hours, wifi, and outdoor seating.

A short gap on screen is only a first clue, so check the real route before you commit. Baguio's slopes and one-way roads can turn a close pin into a long climb.

If you're meeting friends, share the exact pin, not just a name, since a few cafes share one.

Bringing a laptop? Pick a spot with a wifi tag and ask about a plug.

Want the pine view? Ask the branch which seats face the trees before you settle in.
