Where does the cafe data come from?
Every cafe comes from OpenStreetMap, the open, community-built map of the world. Each row links to the exact record it was built from, so you can check the source and see what a mapper added.
The listings are a snapshot pulled on 18 September 2026, not a live feed. For a few cities, the pages also show opening hours or a website read from the cafe's own page, and each of those carries a source link in the row.
When a plan depends on one detail, you'll want to confirm it with the branch.
How are fields and areas handled?
Missing values show as not listed, and an explicit no stays no; a gap is never filled with a guess.
Cafes are grouped by area when the map names one, and gathered under Smaller areas otherwise, so a street name is never treated as an area on its own.
The same care runs across the city pages, for example our Cafes in Bacolod, Cafes in Pampanga, and Coffee Shops in Iloilo City lists.
Two branches with the same name stay separate when their map records differ, so a shared name never collapses into one row.
Who runs this site, and how are pages checked?
