Coffee Shops in Manila

Which Manila districts have the cafes?

They spread from Binondo and Escolta down to Ermita, Malate, and the university belt. Binondo's tight lanes hide old cafes and tea houses, while Escolta and the Santa Cruz side hold heritage buildings with new coffee tenants.

Ermita and Malate near the bay draw tourists, and the Espana corridor near UST fills with students. Chains are common, with 25 Manila records named Starbucks on OpenStreetMap, and most listings aren't chains.

Taft Avenue carries 16 street addresses on the map, more than any other Manila street. De La Salle University stands at 2401 Taft Avenue, and the numbered Taft addresses on our map run from 2339 to 2587.

Hana Coffee at 2339 Taft Avenue has a wlan wifi tag there, and Kape Siklo has a pin at 2387 Beata Street listed 11am to 11pm daily. One reminder: if your stop is in Makati, Pasig, or Quezon City, use those pages instead.

Zoom the map to your district and scan the rows.

Are there 24-hour coffee shops in Manila?

Five are tagged 24/7, and plenty more serve late. About 55 of Manila's roughly 258 cafes record opening times on OpenStreetMap.

Where both sources give hours, the table puts Google's hours first.

Google Maps, checked 6 October 2026, has weekly hours for 149 of the 258 rows on this page, each a different place: 57 of those places still serve after 10pm on a Monday, and it lists five as open 24 hours, among them Seattle's Best Coffee at 2576 Taft Avenue.

For work, about 34 cafes carry a wifi tag. That's a starting point, not a speed test, so ask at the counter if a deadline depends on it.

A quick message to the branch beats trusting an old tag before a late trip.

How do you check a Manila cafe before heading out?

Open the pin, match it to your route, and read the hours as recorded. Manila traffic and one-way streets can make a close pin a slow ride, so plan the approach, not just the distance.

If the address is blank, don't guess a street: the coordinates still place the door on the map, so ask for directions. For an old Binondo or Escolta spot, entrances are easy to miss, so you'll want a landmark when a group meets.

Going late? You'll want to confirm the closing time with the branch instead of trusting the tag.

The written list still works even when the map tiles won't load.
